Ellie Perla, owner and president of LatinEPR, has 22 years of marketing, communications and public relations experience in the travel and lifestyle industry. Ellie has specialized since 1993 in working with the Latin American and US Hispanic markets, helping clients launch and establish their brands/products in each and every country south of the US border. En expert in Latin American culture and behavior, Ellie has vast experience in designing high-impact market-specific branding campaigns.
LatinEPR has worked over the years with clients in the travel and leisure industry such as destinations, hotels, car rental companies, real estate developments, shopping centers, restaurants, and others. Prior to opening her public relations agency LatinEPR, Ellie Perla worked in Corporate PR and Operations in the hotel industry, opening properties in the US, the Caribbean and Egypt. Ellie has a degree in biology from her native country Romania, speaks five languages and is a professional photographer.
Carola Perla is partner and vice-president of LatinEPR, PR agency specialized in pan-regional public relations within Latin America. Carola has joined the team of LatinEPR in 2001, after graduating with a Master Degree in German Studies from Florida State University.
Carola’s exceptional writing skills proved to be a great asset in developing PR campaigns for clients who were in need of multi-lingual services. From 2002-2009 she has been in charge of the research, writing and editing of LatinEPR’s Monthly Newsletter. The LatinEPR Newsletter covered the latest news in politics, economy, social development, cultural news, travel trends and statistics in all countries in Latin America, and was distributed to travel industry leaders in the US during a time when there was a great need for a succinct summary of news from Latin America.
Carola has 13 years of experience working within the travel and lifestyle industry, in marketing/public relations. She is fluent in: English, Spanish and German. She is also a novelist/writer, and has recently published her first novel “Gibbin House”.

We personally host all Special Projects outlined in our annual schedule where Latin American media is present.
